Healthy E-mail Spam?

It has been quite a while since I posted about some of the whacky posts that I find around the net. I have been posting less and less of the craziness as I have been trying to steer away from so much HANL (Heres A Nifty Link) blogging :-) . However, trolling through the reader this a.m. I came across a whacky story on Dave Pell’s blog. The premise here is that a diet rich in email spam can actually be healthy for you, according to a study by a group of Canadian researchers. What the hell are these people thinking?

E-mail spam can be good for you if it comes as a steady stream of e-mails nagging about healthy habits, Canadian researchers said on Thursday.

People who were spammed about healthy eating and keeping active, tended to exercise and lose weight, according to the researchers at the University of Alberta.

The only good e-mail spam is a deleted e-mail spam.
