New Plugs for the Pod
I was getting ready to head out and walk to work last week, which I try to do at least 2-3 times a week, as its good excersize and thinking time. Part of this mini ritual is putting my iPod on and listening to tuneage. This time after firing up the pod I was dissappointed to find out that the left ear bud was shot, bottomed out, just plain ol fuzzy, making all of my music sound like crap. Wow, I just bought the iPod in December and the headphones are already shot? My cousin did warn me that the standard issue iPod headphones were cheap, and he was right. So it was time for an upgrade:
I gotta have my tuneage, so behold the Shure E2c’s. Outside of studio headphones, they are the first “professional” sounding, noise cancelling set of headphones I have ever had. You put them on from behind the ear and then they actually go into the ear canal. This makes for unbelieveable sound, that personally I can’t believe I haven’t discovered before. I always had the “Oh yeah, I will pick up a pair of those one day” state of mind when it came to good headphones for the pod. So, if your looking for a sound upgrade, pick up a pair, they aren’t the cheapest and they aren’t the most expensive ($67-99 depending on where you buy them). They may even make you start walking to work
